Return & Refund / Service Policy – RoadRunner Transmission
Nature of Services
RoadRunner Transmission provides transmission inspection, rebuild, and related services. Due to the custom and labor-intensive nature of this work, all services are considered final once approved and completed, except as outlined in the warranty section below.
Estimates & Approval
Customers are not charged for initial teardown and inspection used to determine repair costs. After inspection, a final estimate will be provided. Customers may decline service at this stage at no cost and may retrieve their transmission in its current condition.
Cancellations
If a customer chooses not to proceed after receiving the estimate, no fees will be charged. Once repair work has been approved and begun, cancellations are not permitted.
Warranty
RoadRunner Transmission provides a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) covering defects resulting from builder negligence only.
- Warranty coverage applies strictly to the transmission built by RoadRunner Transmission.
- Warranty service consists of repair or correction of the original unit only. Replacement with another unit is not guaranteed.
- Warranty does not cover labor costs, removal/reinstallation, towing, downtime, or any other associated expenses.
- Warranty is void in cases of improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, or external component failure not related to builder workmanship.
Non-Warranty Situations
If a failure is determined not to be caused by builder negligence, repairs may still be offered at the customer’s expense. In some cases, partial assistance or discounted repair may be offered at the sole discretion of RoadRunner Transmission as a goodwill gesture.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of custom mechanical services, no refunds are provided once work has been completed. All approved work is considered final.
Discretionary Adjustments
RoadRunner Transmission reserves the right to make case-by-case decisions outside of this policy in the interest of customer satisfaction. Any such adjustments are made voluntarily and do not constitute an ongoing obligation.
